D&I Fingerprint is a joint initiative between AYDER, ASHOKA and UNDP. The outcome is a brochure that compiles the best practices and a film about the theme of “Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace” – all prepared by a joint working group.

Project Objectives

The objective is to work with 50 different candidate institutions that consist of private companies and NGOs and can set good examples with their best practices and are brought together with an inclusive approach. The “Disability in the Workplace” compilation of ILO (International Labor Organization) and the “Promoting Diversity and Inclusion Through Workplace Adjustments” guides are used for reference and as examples.

Project Activities

We took on this journey because we wish to piece together the strategies and implementations of institutions that value differences such as age groups, social class, beliefs, race, sex and gender, disabilities, as the need for organizations that include all types of diversity and embrace them efficiently. The project was launched in June 2017 with the participation of candidate corporations, and a meeting was held. After the meeting, the best practices by the corporations will be documented via meetings and visits to the corporations, and the data will be published as a booklet as well as being produced as a film. The second phase of the project will be the visits and the project will resume from there.
